Designed by Marilyn Yu, called Plutonium MOTO jackets is the latest addition to Marilyn’s Plutonium clothing creations. Here she’s combining two of her passions: motorcycling and fashion. Marilyn is transitioning from elaborate, custom wedding dresses to stylish, high-performance motorcycle gear.

Five years ago fashion designer, Marilyn Yu, bought her first scooter. The year following that one, she bought her first motorcycle. Now onto her fourth motorcycle, a Triumph Street Triple R, Marilyn has fully joined the motorcycling lifestyle and loves riding. But the one thing she didn’t love was the gear choices that went along with the sport.

After many years of wearing bad looking motorcycle gear, she decided to make her own gear. She created three styles of Plutonium MOTO jackets made of 1000 Denier Cordura – the Elizabeth jacket, the Emma, and the Victoria. The jackets contain shoulder, elbow, back, and hip armor that is held in the armor shell. The shell is easily removable so that you can wear it in another jacket or wear the jacket without armor.

Marilyn Yu understands that traveling by motorcycle requires compact packing, which means versatility is crucial. Plutonium Moto jackets have an accompanying wind/waterproof liner that adds protection from the weather.
